Sweet Doom

My contest entry (the first also as a deviantart member) is based on the well-known Germanic fairytale from the Brothers' Grimm, "Hansel & Gretel".

There are probably varying versions but to those who somehow are not familiar with this story, the two siblings Hansel & Gretel get lost deep within a forest one day and stumble upon a delicious gingerbread house. As the house was so appetizing and the children were hungry, they starting eating at it without realizing that an evil witch was living inside just waiting for passersby to fall into her trap.

Interpret as you like but I might as well say this...

What seems good on the outside isn't always on the inside.
